How To Start Graphics Desiging As A Beginner.

Designs are everywhere. When You first open your smartphone you see some cool wallpapers , you open some apps which also has UI designs. Bill Board to a small business card there is some design on it. If you wonder how can i design such awesome graphics than you are at right place.

1. What To learn First?

To start designing it not necessary to learn Photoshop at first only. First you need to understand principle of fundamental design. There are thousands of video related to this in youtube. I really prefer you to start powerpoint. Yea, powerpoint it sounds boring but it is powerfull software to make basement for your graphics designing career. Learning ppt is worth for all of us.

2. Which Software Should I choose next?

Well, If you learnt fundament of designs like (color combo, shapes, fonts, space,etc). Now you can start designing in Photoshop. Its always better to do a designs project based on what you learnt new today. You can make banners, posters, business card, logos, etc. Well photoshop is used to edit the photo, manipulate , retouching, etc. But If you want to learn vector graphics for logo designing, illustration and more cool stuffs than its time to learn the Adobe Illustrator. If you dont know what actually is difference in illustrator and photoshop, let me explain it. Photoshop produces raster images (which means when it is resized the pixel of that pic is stretched and it produces unclear image) but illustrator produces Vector image(which don't get stretched when resized) and also illustrator is more flexible when comes to shapes and font. Photoshop and illustrator are the best for basics designs . But its not complete , If you are interested to designing models for game designs than try Blender, Cinema 3d.

3. Resources For Designs?

It's always necessary to grab best resources for designing and brushing up your skills. You need resources for inspiration. I have some of my all time Fav. resources online.

4. Projects and Practice

Practice makes a man perfect. Although it's an old one but yeah Practicing designs everyday makes you more creative and with project you can build your own audience in social platforms. Projects and skills helps you to build a strong portfolio.
